Kids and parents alike can have a blast at venues like Top Golf or the Rockin’ Jump. Even if you don’t love swinging a golf club, the atmosphere and general ambiance of the Roseville Top Golf location are fantastic for making memories. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, the exhilaration of taking the kids to jump at the Rockin’ Jump trampoline park is hard to beat.

Or course you may want to save that for a rainy day considering how conducive our weather is to all the outdoor venues. Consider a half hour drive to Hidden Falls Regional Park where you can enjoy the hikes and did we mention the amazing scenery?

There are so many places for adventure, but you should make sure not to miss Auburn State Recreation Area. A 25 minute drive from Roseville, Auburn State Recreation Area is open from 7AM until sunset every day of the year. There is so much to see and it’s breathtaking. Do you like mountain biking, boating, camping, kayaking? How about gold panning or equestrian activities? Not only is there a lot to see, but there is a lot do for any outdoor enthusiast.

Looking for something a little closer? How about Folsom Lake State Recreation Area–only 20 minutes east of Roseville. Also known for its views, Folsom Lake is a great spot for the family daycation. Weather-wise, spring and summer are the best times to visit. You can not only take in the views, but you can enjoy water recreation, camping, or group picnics.
